PRIM CARE GROUP SAFEGUARDING STATEMENT

  • As an organisation Prim Care Group Ltd (and its staff) has the duty to protect and promote the welfare of the vulnerable individuals. Management have experience and are well trained to take a lead role for safeguarding issues within the service. In addition, we have a director appointed to ensure safeguarding is given high priority and monitored at the highest level.
  • Safeguarding is the back bone of our on our main focus, which is on our service users, employees and environmental considerations. Thus, we make safeguarding everyone’s responsibility. As such, it is important for us to employ suitable and experienced staff whose primary aim is to promote strong safeguarding culture. In other words, we recruit staff following a rigorous safer recruitment and vetting process, including the disclosure of criminal records.
  • All Prim Care Group Ltd employees and directors complete mandatory vulnerable individuals safeguarding training at induction and are expected to refresh annually. We also request agency staff to provide proof that they have the required level of safeguarding training. We have suitable safeguarding policies & procedures, which are available to individuals within the organisation in order to promote safeguarding and safe working practices in the service.
